Srinagar to Pahalgam By Flight: To reach Pahalgam, you have to arrive at Srinagar airport which is the closest airport to Pahalgam in Kashmir. And after reaching Srinagar you can choose to rent a car or take a taxi.

Best Time to Visit Pahalgam, Kashmir

The best time to visit Pahalgam and Kashmir is during the spring and summer months, from April to early June. During this period, the weather is pleasant, and the region comes alive with colourful flowers, lush greenery, and moderate temperatures. It’s an ideal time for sightseeing, outdoor activities, and enjoying the local culture.

We stopped at Evergreen Resort and Restaurant for breakfast. Which was crowded with tourists and locals passing by. Next to it, you have a souvenir shop and a lovely garden and park for the kids to play and for you to click some lovely pictures with red, pink and orange roses.

  1. You can visit Ashmuqam Dargah where Bajrangi Bhaijan movie song Bhar do Jholi shot.
  2. Do stop at Anantnag village’s local market. I loved seeing the market and the local breads and other items were getting sold over there.
  3. Lovely restaurants for breakfast or lunch with gardens and souvenir shops around.
  4. Apple garden. In the apple season, it’s an excellent idea to stop at one of the Apple gardens and try those tasty and juicy golden apples.
  5. Vast Saffron fields.
  6. You can also stop on the side of the road closer to Pahalgam to enjoy getting closer to the Lidder River.
