Beau Vallon Beach is one of the perfect beaches in Seychelles. It is an ideal place to relax and get a tan. You will get motorised water sports, loungers and drinks at the beach that the nearby hotels offer (depending on the hotel). Though the place is full of tourists around the year, the area has much Seychellois living here.
Beau Vallon has multiple restaurants, convenient shops and dive centre for some recreation thrills. These are some excellent thing for locals and tourists made them prefer this area over any other.
Beau Vallon is also a better place for tourists because it is close to many tourist places like Victoria (The capital of Seychelles), Botanical Garden Mahe, Other beautiful beaches in the North of the Island and much more.
Bel Ombre area is one of the closest areas to Beau Vallon. That also has lovely hotels and a beach that continues from Beau Vallon.
If you are coming from the airport, you will cross Victoria, where you will find an intersection and find a police station over there.
From the Police station, if you go straight, you will get to Beau Vallon Beach. And if you go left, you will get to the Bel Ombre Village/Area.
To name a few hotels close and at a convenient distance to Beau Vallon Beach are :
Sunflower DNM holiday apartment, Hannaman holiday residence pretty Savoy Hotel.
The Beach has ample parking space, so if you stay on the other parts of the Island, you can rent a car, get to this place, and have free parking.
You will find souvenir stalls, an open gym, a few restaurants, an extended end of the Savoy hotel, Coral strand hotel, and restaurants.
The Beau Vallon beach is busy throughout the year. With tourists and locals both. But most tourists.
On the sides of the Beach, you will find small excursion kiosks where you can book a tour.
In 2021 it looks fantastic. The Beach is full of people and lively. In 2020 we came to see this place in November after the lockdown, which looked so stranded and dead.
You have more restaurants, takeaways, and souvenir shops from the right side of the parking.
The Beach is more than 2 km long and wide. That can accommodate plenty of people at a time.
On a bright day, the water is irresistible and looks incredible
The day I visited Beau Vallon and made the video, I saw a fruit shop and wanted to buy Soursop. This fruit is one of the unique tropical local fruits of Seychelles. But the shopkeeper took double from me than the usual. So just saying don’t buy fruits or veggies from such a famous place, it will be expensive.
One of the beautiful facts about Seychelles is that it has mountains everywhere you go. So you have mountains, ocean and Beach all in one place. What else do you want, right?
Well, I am going to the ocean now. I hope this post is helpful to you.
You can ask me anything about Seychelles, and I will surely help you.
Happy Vacationing!
