It’s not new that we all have specific goals from the last day of December to the first month of the new year. Most of us make a note in our mind, and most of us make a whole planner for the month or a year (exceptionally organized people do that). My New Year’s resolution is to become more organized and mindful of my time. I want to set realistic goals and work towards accomplishing them positively and efficiently.Healthier lifestyle by following a balanced diet and incorporating more physical activity into my routine.

I will make more plans for my goals and work towards them. 

Last year was a bit tough for us mentally. So I am trying to be more positive this year. 

I know it’s not magic that everything will be fine. It’s life, and it will go through shit on you. Being positive will keep you together. It will not let you get shattered at once. 

5 tips to stay positive this new year 2023

  • Make time for yourself each day – Set aside time to do something that makes you happy and relaxed. This could be anything from reading a book, taking a long walk, watching a movie (i do this religiously, thanks to Netflix), doing yoga (I have to start this one), or even listening to music.
  • Focus on the positives – Instead of dwelling on the negatives, try to focus on the positive aspects of life. It could range from the simple pleasures of a cup of coffee in the morning to the big things like your job or relationships.
  • Practice gratitude – every day, take a few moments to think of what you are grateful for. This could be anything from an unexpected act of kindness to the food on your plate.
  • Surround yourself with positive people – having a supportive circle of friends and family is important to help you stay positive. Please catch up with them, share laughs, and discuss your goals and dreams.
  • Find a hobby – hobbies can help you stay positive by giving you a sense of purpose and a chance to learn something new. Find something that you enjoy and devote some time to it each week.

Another resolution would be to stay fit and in shape

I made some changes in my eating habits last year towards the end. And saw a difference in the body. I realized I could keep going like that and stay healthy and in shape. 

Basically, I did these things, which I am going to continue this year as well.

  • Start your day with a healthy breakfast. A nutritious breakfast provides the energy you need to get through the day. I mainly ate fruits for breakfast. And helps you make smarter food choices for lunch and dinner.
  • I ate mostly fruits for breakfast. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are packed with essential vitamins and minerals and are low in calories. Try to eat a variety of different coloured fruits and vegetables.
  • I chose less food and the ones with lean proteins. Lean proteins such as fish, chicken, and beans are excellent sources of protein that are low in fat.
  • Cut down on processed and fast foods. Processed and fast foods are high in calories and unhealthy fats, so limit your intake.
  • This one is something I always struggle with. Drinking plenty of water. Staying hydrated helps to keep you feeling full and can help prevent overeating. 
  • I had little to nothing for dinners. Or if I felt starving, I ate fruits or a bit of cold milk. 

As a blogger and a mom, I always try to balance my blogging work and motherhood work. But motherhood always wins over my job. I pay more attention there and often leave my blogging world stranded. This year I have promised myself to publish my blogs frequently.

  • Set a schedule: Make aside a certain amount of time each day or week to write and publish your blog. This will help you stay consistent in your blogging schedule. 
  • Join a blogging community: Connecting with other bloggers can give you inspiration, motivation, and support. It can help to have a group of other bloggers to talk to and share ideas with.
  • Keep your ideas organized: To stay consistent in publishing your blog, make sure to jot down on google docs and organize any ideas for blog posts you come across. This way, you’ll always have content to work with. 
  • Take time to promote: Once you’ve published your blog post, don’t forget to promote it across your social media channels. The more people that see your posts, the better!
  • Reward yourself: Celebrate your successes and reward yourself for staying consistent in publishing your blog. This will help you stay motivated and encourage you to keep going.

Work towards my passive income in this New Year’s Resolution 

Last year towards the end, I published my 2 children’s books. And now that I have figured out how things are going, the processes and everything, I am motivated to make more children’s books this year. 

And also, I am planning to start working this year. So I have already begun planning to 

  • have a work-life and personal life balance. 
  • I need to figure out how I will spend quality time with my son. 

To be more focused on saving this year – 

And, of course, another New Year’s resolution will be more focused on saving this year. After moving to the new country last year, we kept figuring out how things work here in Bahrain and how we could take a path to spend but not like crazy, which we did last year already. 

5 tips to save money this year 2023

  • Understand your requirements to save money. I noted every day’s expenditures for the past 3 months to understand the kind of expense we are doing. In the First month we arrived, we set up the house and bought many things. In the second month, we did a lot of restaurants hopping and exploring the city. And the third month, December, we shopped a lot and partied a bit after making friends here. So yeah, in the end, we had to look back and understand where all the money is going. 
  • Make a budget and stick to it. This is the most critical step in saving money. It allows you to track your spending and ensure you don’t overspend your income. To follow our spending, a better way we try to use only card payments. 
  • Cut back on unnecessary spending. Examine your current expenses to identify areas where you can save. This may include cutting back on entertainment, restaurants, and other non-essential items. We have a terrible habit of buying many kitchen items and sometimes don’t use them on time. So we are watching what we really need. 
  • Make a plan for your future. Put money away into a savings account or retirement account. This will help you build a financial cushion for the future and reduce financial stress.
  • Take advantage of discounts and promotions. Shop for the best deals and take advantage of discounts and promotions to save money.
  • Utilize technology. Use apps and websites to help you save money and track your spending. This can help you stay on top of your finances and make sure you make the most of your money.

So I hope you got some inspiration from my post. Also, by writing this, I am making strong points to follow these goals in my New Year’s Resolution.
